My name is Steph Kelly and I am the photographer here at Silver Brumby.
I named my business after my horse The Silver Brumby because I feel like I grew so much with him and learned so much about myself and horses with him. It is with this passion that I wanted to inject into my business.
I have been riding for about 20 years now, competing mainly in dressage throughout pony club and British dressage.
I have two of my own horses The Silver Brumby (Rooney) and Barichello (Burty)
Rooney is 23 years old now and has competed up to Advanced Medium at nationals on a few occasions.
Burty is 7 years old and is making his way up the levels.
I got into photography at a young age, taking photos of absolutely everything because I felt that a photo can make memories last longer.
At shows I would regularly buy photoโs from the show photographer.
This drove me to book a personal shoot as it made me want something more personal with my horse, away from the arena. Instead of having the same canter or medium trot photo I wanted to capture the relationship with my horse in a more intimate setting. I loved every second of it, so much so that I said to myself this is what I wanted to do. I want to help other horse owners create special memories with their horses to have and to cherish forever.
I love the personal shoots so much that itโs what I wanted to do with my business that it inspired me to take my business in this direction.
As a horse owner and competitive rider I feel I can make the most of a photoshoot with you and your horse. Capturing those moments between the moments
